About the role

The role involves marketing and promoting agricultural financing products, managing credit applications, and maintaining a financing portfolio within a designated area.

• Market and promote agricultural financing products to prospective and existing clients.
• Process and manage credit applications in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Handle and resolve client account queries efficiently and professionally.
• Provide client service within the designated marketing area and manage clients’ financing-related requirements.
• Monitor crops and compile crop assessment reports.
• Manage, report on, and collect overdue accounts to minimise credit risk.
• Maintain and grow the financing portfolio within the designated marketing area.
• Establish and maintain strong internal relationships with colleagues and relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare cash flow budgets and analyse and interpret clients’ financial statements to assess their financial position and creditworthiness.
• Attend agricultural information days, industry events and client engagement sessions as required.

What they're looking for

• Minimum qualification of Grade 12 (Matric).
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable personal vehicle are essential requirements.
• Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience in customer service and marketing is required.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• A basic understanding of the economic and social aspects of agriculture, including market trends, farming practices and policies that may affect the agricultural industry.
