About the role

Durban based | Permanent Opportunity National Logistics / Supply Chain Company is seeking an experienced Account Manager to develop long-term relationships with a portfolio of customers, connecting with various stakeholders and growing the revenue base of customers in line with the business strategy and growth requirement.

• Responsible for Account management and new business development
• Liaise between customers and cross-functional departments to ensure timely and successful delivery of services
• Identify new potential customers, prospect, needs analysis, proposal and close
• Maintain and grow existing customer base
• Develop strategic relationships with key role players and stakeholders

Ensure monthly and annual targets are achieved

What they're looking for

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing, or Business is highly advantageous
• Minimum 4 years’ proven sales experience or customer engagement gained within the Courier / Logistics sector
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM Software
• Valid drivers and own reliable transport
• Proven sales record and passion for customers
