Our client, a large concern in the Pneumatics industry, is looking to appoint an admin clerk / internal sales person for their branch in Pretoria.






  • To efficiently and effectively manage all relevant office documentation and correspondence relating to System and Sales via the sales team, and assist where necessary with Debtors and Creditors.  
  • Be the first contact all customers deal with, correctly establishing their needs and handling the requests or queries to the correct person/department first time every time. Screening of calls-to avoid time wastage by the Branch Manager and his team.


Main Duties:


  • Switchboard - Screening of all calls
  • Typing of all quotes and documentation for the reps
  • Weekly reports to be sent to Head Office on a weekly basis. (This is things like Quote Book, Call Report, Customer Database)
  • Placing of orders
  • Make sure that delivery of goods are correct and priced correctly
  • Arrange COD Payments / Manage Petty Cash
  • Assisting the Debtors and Creditors department 
  • Always offer assistance to the sales department regarding any needs they might have to close deals faster.
  • Other functions to be discussed with shortlisted candidates 


Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 Certificate
  • Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
  • Willing to learn and be part of a team
  • Clear Credit and Criminal Record
