  • We are recruiting an experienced Breakfast Chef for a luxury hospitality property in the North Cotswolds.

 

The property operates a professional kitchen offering modern British cuisine, with a strong emphasis on fresh, seasonal ingredients and consistently high standards. This position would suit a reliable, organised chef who enjoys taking ownership of the breakfast service and works well independently during the early part of the day.

Description

  • Prepare, cook and present the full breakfast offering.
  • Take responsibility for breakfast mise en place and service.
  • Ensure dishes are prepared consistently and presented to the required standard.
  • Cater for dietary requirements, allergies and individual guest requests.
  • Monitor stock levels and minimise food waste.
  • Receive and correctly store kitchen deliveries where required.
  • Maintain a clean, organised and fully prepared section.
  • Follow all food-safety, allergen, hygiene and HACCP procedures.
  • Assist with preparation for later services when breakfast duties are complete.
  • Work closely with the wider kitchen and front-of-house teams.

Minimum Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Breakfast Chef, Chef de Partie or experienced Commis Chef within a quality hotel, restaurant or similar hospitality environment.
  • Confident preparing a full cooked breakfast service.
  • Able to work independently and remain organised during busy periods.
  • Good knowledge of food hygiene, allergens and kitchen safety.
  • Reliable, punctual and comfortable with early-morning shifts.
  • Consistent attention to food quality, portioning and presentation.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to support the wider kitchen team.
