Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to perform routine and preventative electrical maintenance across the property. This role ensures the safe and efficient operation of all electrical systems, supporting the smooth functioning of the resort and enhancing the guest experience.

Description

Job Purpose

 

To carry out all electrical maintenance duties throughout Elephant Point, including preventative maintenance, repairs, and compliance with safety and operational standards, in both guest-facing and back-of-house areas.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Maintenance & Repairs

  • Perform routine electrical maintenance throughout the property, indoors and outdoors.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance of electrical systems and networks.
  • Carry out electrical repairs in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
  • Ensure all electrical equipment and components are properly stored and maintained.

 

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure all electrical work complies with health and safety standards, statutory requirements, and Elephant Point policies.
  • Maintain hazard-free, clean, and orderly work areas.
  • Ensure the safe use and storage of tools and equipment.

 

Collaboration & Support

  • Liaise with the Maintenance Manager and Heads of Department to address electrical issues promptly.
  • Support other maintenance team members in delivering seamless operational service.
  • Participate in induction, refresher training, and Elephant Point programmes.
  • Perform additional duties as required or requested by the Maintenance Manager.
