Description
As a Fine Dining Waiter, you will play a crucial role in delivering an outstanding dining experience to our guests. Reporting to the Director of F&B, you will ensure that each guest receives top-tier service from the moment they arrive until their departure. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining the highest standards of service and cleanliness. Your ability to anticipate and fulfill guest needs will contribute significantly to their overall dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional service to all guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience.
- Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages promptly.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu, including daily specials and promotions.
- Ensure the dining area is clean, organized, and well-presented at all times.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and poise.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down the dining area for each service period.
Minimum Requirements
- Previous experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant is essential.
- Knowledge of Indian cuisine and culture is advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings and weekends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Person Specifications:
- Highly professional and well-groomed appearance.
- Strong customer service-oriented mindset.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Work Hours: 14:00 – 23:00 shift. The restaurant is open 7 days a week, but staff are rostered 5 days on, 2 days off.
Salary: R30 – R35 per hour (maximum 176 hours per month = R5200 - R6100)
