Join our client's team as a Front of House Manager and be a part of an exciting, bustling restaurant in Constantia. We're looking for someone who can lead the front of house team to provide exceptional service to our clients guests in a fast-paced environment.

Description

As the Front of House Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the front of house, ensuring that our clients guests have a memorable dining experience. Your duties will include:

  • Managing and supervising front of house staff, including waitstaff, hosts, and bartenders.
  • Training new employees and ensuring that all staff adhere to company policies and standards.
  • Monitoring service quality and addressing any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Creating and maintaining a positive and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
  • Managing reservations and seating arrangements to optimise table turnover and guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborating with the kitchen and management team to ensure smooth communication and operations.

Minimum Requirements

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role in the restaurant industry.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure gracefully.
  • Must have own transport for commuting to and from work.
  • Availability to start as soon as possible.
