The H2B Visa season is from October to July (10 months)

 

Job Summary:

 

We are seeking a highly skilled and self-sufficient Baker to take full responsibility for all baking operations in our restaurant in Naples, Florida. This role requires expertise in sourdough, artisan breads, and laminated pastries, as well as the ability to manage all aspects of baking independently. The Baker will be responsible for production, quality control, and inventory management, ensuring the highest standards in taste,
presentation, and efficiency.
 

Description

Key Responsibilities:


• Independently manage all bakery operations, from production to presentation.
• Prepare and bake a variety of artisan breads, including sourdough, baguettes, and specialty loaves.
• Execute and refine lamination techniques for croissants and other pastries, such as pain au chocolat and Danish pastries.
• Maintain and monitor sourdough starters, fermentation processes, and dough hydration for optimal quality.
• Ensure proper execution of dough mixing, shaping, proofing, and baking techniques.
• Maintain and operate bakery equipment, ensuring proper care and functionality.
• Uphold the highest quality and presentation standards for all baked goods.
• Implement and maintain food safety and hygiene protocols in accordance with industry regulations.
• Manage ingredient inventory, monitor supply levels, and handle procurement.
• Innovate and develop new menu items, bringing creativity to the bakery selection.

 

Minimum Requirements

Requirements:

 

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in artisan baking, specializing in sourdough, bread, and croissants.
• Proven expertise in dough fermentation, hydration control, and lamination techniques.
• Strong ability to work independently and manage all aspects of bakery operations.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle high production volumes.
• Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Commitment to consistency, quality, and attention to detail.

• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
• Food Handler’s certification (preferred but not required).
