Our client based in Centurion is looking for a Python Data Analyst for a 12-month contract and working onsite.
Description
Skills:
- 2 years of working experience in an IT environment
- Experience in working on IT enterprise Azure-based data solutions
- Experience with Power BI, Power Query, T-SQL and visualizing
- Experience with
- Experience in gathering requirements and transition it to designs and outcomes
Duties:
- Responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to deliver actionable insights that drive informed business decisions.
- Design, create, and deploy enterprise-scale data analytics solutions using the Microsoft Azure Data Suite.
- Clean, transform, and model data to enable advanced analytics and business intelligence reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional internal and external teams to ensure effective implementation, setup, utilization, and governance of the enterprise data platform.
- Contribute to the full data function, including data analytics, business intelligence, and advanced analytics.
- Possess strong knowledge of data and business intelligence enablement, as well as business intelligence rendering tools.
- Demonstrate proficiency in project management tools and report writing.
- Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Apply strong people change management skills to ensure successful adoption of data-driven initiatives.
- Maintain a strong business focus by understanding organizational strategy and aligning data initiatives to support business objectives.
- Knowledge of IT security is an added advantage.
Minimum Requirements
- BCom Information Technology qualification / bachelor’s degree in computer science / Engineering (IT) degree or similar
- Data analysis tools (Azure Enterprise Data Analyst) certification will be an added advantage
- ITIL or COBIT certification
