Description
The Junior Sous Chef will assist in the daily management of kitchen operations, ensuring that all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standards. You will work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to maintain consistency, quality, and efficiency across all meal services.
Key responsibilities include supervising junior kitchen staff, maintaining hygiene and food safety standards, assisting with stock control and ordering, and ensuring that mise-en-place is prepared accurately and timeously. You will also play a key role in maintaining kitchen organisation and supporting smooth service delivery.
This role requires a hands-on approach, strong attention to detail, and the ability to perform under pressure in a luxury lodge setting.

Minimum Requirements
- Relevant culinary qualification
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef in a 4* or 5* environment
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety standards
- Ability to lead and support a small team
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a high-pressure, service-driven environment
