Our client, a well-established safari lodge in Zambia, is seeking a Lodge Operations & Administration Manager to support the day-to-day running of the property across guest operations, administration, and back-office coordination. This is a live-in opportunity suited to a hands-on hospitality professional with strong organisational and operational skills.

Description

The successful candidate will assist in overseeing daily lodge operations while ensuring smooth coordination between front-of-house, administration, and support departments. The role will involve managing guest-facing floor operations, handling administrative duties, supporting reporting processes, and ensuring operational standards are consistently maintained throughout the lodge.

 

This position requires someone who is highly organised, guest-focused, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities within a remote hospitality environment. You will work closely with senior management and lodge teams to ensure efficient operations, excellent guest service, and strong communication across departments.

 

The ideal candidate should be confident handling administration, operational support, staff coordination, and general lodge logistics while remaining calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Requirements

  • Previous hospitality or lodge operations experience
  • Strong administration and organisational skills
  • Experience in front-of-house or guest service operations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently within a remote environment
  • Computer literacy and reporting skills advantageous
  • Positive, hands-on, and team-oriented attitude
