We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced General Management Couple to lead the day-to-day operations of the hotel, campsite, and surrounding facilities.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to a proactive, people-focused couple with solid hospitality experience and the ability to thrive in a remote, scenic location.
Description
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Operational Management
- Full oversight of daily operations across the hotel, camping, and F&B outlets
- Maintain high standards in cleanliness, presentation, and guest services
- Conduct regular walkthroughs and audits to ensure smooth function across all departments
Guest Experience
- Ensure exceptional guest service across check-in, check-out, and during stay
- Manage bookings, guest feedback, and conflict resolution with professionalism
- Drive a guest-first culture among all staff
Food & Beverage Oversight
- Oversee kitchen, bar, and restaurant operations
- Monitor food and service quality, portion control, and cost efficiency
- Ensure stock management, cost control, and compliance with hygiene standards
Financial & Administrative Management
- Create and manage budgets; monitor expenses and revenues
- Weekly and monthly reporting to shareholders and head office
- Manage payroll input, stock control, supplier accounts, and debtors
Property & Maintenance
- Oversee ongoing maintenance, repairs, and preventative strategies
- Liaise with external contractors and ensure upkeep of all facilities and equipment
- Maintain aesthetic appeal of the hotel and grounds
Team Leadership & HR
- Manage time & attendance, rostering, and inter-department coordination
- Hire, train, motivate and lead a team of approx. 40 staff
- Address staff grievances, disciplinary issues, and maintain a positive work culture
Sales & Marketing
- Drive direct bookings and occupancy in collaboration with Head Office
- Manage online travel agent (OTA) platforms and ensure accurate updates
- Support social media presence and attend relevant expos and regional events
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with OHS Act and all safety regulations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment for guests and staff
- Conduct regular safety training and uphold emergency response protocols
Minimum Requirements
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of hospitality management experience (preferably resort or lodge)
- Strong background in F&B, operations, and guest relations
- Valid driver’s license (both partners preferred)
- Experience with hospitality systems like APEX, NightsBridge, and OTAs
Skills & Attributes:

- Comfortable working in a remote location
- Passion for hospitality and a hands-on approach to leadership
