Our client, a growing hospitality group based in Monrovia, Liberia, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee a diverse and expanding portfolio that includes a leading hotel, three restaurant outlets located on one site, and a takeaway concept, with further expansion planned.
This is a senior operational leadership role for a hands-on hospitality professional who thrives in multi-outlet environments and has experience driving consistency, efficiency, and service excellence across complex operations.
Description
The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of all hospitality outlets within the group, ensuring smooth coordination between departments, strong financial control, and consistent guest experiences across all venues.
A key focus of the role will be acting as the central liaison between chefs, restaurant managers, and hotel operations, ensuring alignment in service standards, operational procedures, and performance expectations.
The successful candidate will also play a critical role in supporting the launch and setup of new hospitality concepts and future properties. This includes implementing operational systems, establishing SOPs, supporting pre-opening planning, and ensuring new outlets are effectively structured for success.
In addition, the role requires strong oversight of food and beverage operations, stock control, cost management, and reporting. The Operations Manager will ensure that all outlets operate efficiently, remain financially controlled, and deliver a consistently high level of guest experience.
This is a highly hands-on position suited to a strong operator who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, developing hospitality environment and contributing directly to growth and expansion.
Minimum Requirements
- Proven experience in multi-outlet hospitality operations (hotel and restaurants)
- Strong Food & Beverage operations background
- Experience managing or coordinating multiple restaurant or hospitality units
- Strong financial acumen including stock control, budgeting, and reporting
- Experience in implementing or improving operational systems and SOPs
- Ability to work across diverse teams and manage multiple stakeholders
- Previous experience in pre-openings or new hospitality developments advantageous
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Hands-on operational approach with attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a developing or fast-growth environment
