Summary

A well-established franchise optical practice in the beautiful Stellenbosch area is looking for an experienced Optical Frontliner or Lab Technician who is ready to take the next step in their career and transition into a dynamic retail-focused role.

 

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of optical industry experience, a strong understanding of the optical environment, and a genuine interest in developing their retail and customer-service skills. Someone who is confident with clients, eager to learn, and ready to grow within a supportive team environment will thrive in this position.

  • Assisting customers with frame selection and lens options, providing expert advice on style and functionality.
  • Conducting preliminary eye tests and measurements under the guidance of our experienced optometrists.
  • Managing inventory and ensuring displays are immaculately presented to showcase our premium eyewear collections.
  • Providing exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, and ensuring a seamless experience from entry to exit.
  • Basic to advanced Lab duties depending on expereince

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12
  • Fluent in Afrikaans and English
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • Reliable transport
  • Industry-related experience
