About the role

An established optical practice in Johannesburg South is looking for an experienced Optical Assistant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience working in an optometry practice, be well spoken and confident in dealing with patients, and genuinely enjoy working with people. You will be the welcoming face of the practice, assisting patients from the moment they walk through the door, while handling general optical frontline duties, assisting the Optometrist and team, and ensuring patients receive friendly and professional service throughout their visit. We are looking for someone approachable, helpful, reliable and able to build a good rapport with patients and colleagues. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 and Saturdays, 08:00 - 14:00. If you have solid optical experience and enjoy being part of a patient-focused practice, we would like to hear from you.
