Our client, a well-established optometry practice located in the scenic Vredenburg area, is seeking a dedicated and professional Optometrist to join their team.

The position offers a balanced work schedule, with hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:00, and alternate Saturdays from 09:00 to 14:00. No Sunday or public holiday work is required, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

 

Remuneration will be market-related and aligned with the candidate’s level of experience.

Description

  • Perform comprehensive eye examinations and vision tests
  • Diagnose and manage ocular conditions, prescribing appropriate treatments or referrals
  • Provide expert advice on eyewear selection, lens options, and contact lenses
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements and developments in optometry

Minimum Requirements

  • Optometry Degree
  • HPCSA Registration
  • Updated CPD Points
  • Passionate about providing exceptional eye care services and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Excellent communication skills to build lasting relationships with a diverse clientele
  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to conduct thorough eye examinations
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a desire to contribute to the growth of the practice
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Fluent in Afrikaans & English
