Description
- Perform comprehensive eye examinations and vision tests
- Diagnose and manage ocular conditions, prescribing appropriate treatments or referrals
- Provide expert advice on eyewear selection, lens options, and contact lenses
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care
- Stay updated with the latest advancements and developments in optometry
Minimum Requirements
- B.Optom degree and HPCSA registration
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Fluency in Afrikaans and English
- The ability to multitask and thrive in a busy practice
- A patient-focused and professional approach
- A genuine passion for optometry and delivering quality patient care
