Our client, a well-established and patient-focused optometry practice in Rondebosch, is seeking a skilled and experienced Optometrist to join their professional team. The ideal candidate is a dedicated clinician with 5+ years of experience, committed to delivering exceptional eye care and building lasting patient relationships. This opportunity is perfect for an Optometrist who values a balanced work schedule within a supportive and reputable practice environment. Working Hours Monday to Friday: 08h30 – 17h00 Saturday: 08h30 – 12h30 No Sundays or Public Holidays Two Saturdays off per month Salary R50 000 per month (depending on experience) This role offers a stable position in a respected practice with a loyal patient base and excellent working conditions. • Perform comprehensive eye examinations and vision tests
• Diagnose and manage ocular conditions, prescribing appropriate treatments or referrals
• Provide expert advice on eyewear selection, lens options, and contact lenses
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care
• Stay updated with the latest advancements and developments in optometry

• Strong clinical skills and the ability to conduct thorough eye examinations
• Proactive and self-motivated with a desire to contribute to the growth of the practice
• Valid Driver’s License
• Fluent in Afrikaans & English
