We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to maintain and repair all plumbing systems across the property. This role ensures the safe and efficient functioning of potable water, grey water, and sewerage systems, directly supporting guest comfort and operational excellence.

Job Purpose
To carry out plumbing maintenance and repair duties throughout Elephant Point, ensuring the safe operation and reliability of all water and waste systems in both guest-facing and back-of-house areas.
Key Responsibilities
Plumbing Maintenance & Repairs
- Perform routine plumbing maintenance on potable water, grey water, and sewerage systems.
- Connect tubing and fittings, using appropriate tools and techniques, to form sewer, drain, and water lines.
- Carry out preventative maintenance to ensure uninterrupted operation of plumbing systems.
- Ensure appropriate plumbing spares and equipment are stocked and properly stored.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Maintain clean, safe, and hazard-free work areas.
- Ensure all plumbing work complies with health and safety standards, statutory requirements, and Elephant Point policies.
- Adhere to departmental SOPs and hotel standards at all times.
Collaboration & Support
- Liaise with the Maintenance Manager and Heads of Department to address plumbing-related issues promptly.
- Support the wider maintenance team in delivering smooth, efficient operations.
- Participate in induction, refresher training, and Elephant Point programmes.
- Perform additional duties as required or assigned by the Maintenance Manager.

Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (essential).
- Completed formal plumbing training programme (preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years’ plumbing maintenance experience (essential).
