Description
As the sole chef, you will take full responsibility for planning, preparing and presenting exceptional meals tailored to the preferences and dietary requirements of the household and visiting guests. You'll oversee all aspects of kitchen management, including stock control, procurement, budgeting, food safety and maintaining impeccable hygiene standards. This role requires someone who is organised, adaptable and passionate about delivering consistently outstanding culinary experiences while working independently within a professional household team.
Minimum Requirements
- Formal culinary qualification advantageous
- Previous experience as a Private Chef or within a luxury restaurant or hotel
- Strong knowledge of healthy, contemporary cuisine and international cooking styles
- Excellent food presentation and menu planning skills
- Experience managing food budgets, procurement and stock control
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Professional, discreet and guest-focused approach
- Valid legal right to work in South Africa
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: R25,000 – R40,000 per month
