Description

As the Private Chef, you will prepare daily breakfast and dinner for a family of approximately six, including nutritious school lunchboxes and a variety of healthy Western and African cuisine. You'll take complete ownership of the kitchen, including menu planning, grocery shopping, stock management, food budgeting and maintaining impeccable hygiene standards. Creativity, attention to detail and the ability to minimise food waste while consistently delivering exceptional meals are essential. The successful candidate will also participate in a practical cooking assessment as part of the interview process.

Minimum Requirements

  • Formal culinary qualification essential
  • Previous experience as a Private Chef or in a similar role
  • Strong menu planning and food presentation skills
  • Proven ability to prepare healthy Western and African cuisine
  • Experience with grocery shopping, procurement and stock management
  • Excellent knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene
  • Highly organised, reliable and able to work independently
  • Professional, discreet and trustworthy
  • Valid driver's licence advantageous
  • Available to start immediately

 

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary: R20,000 – R25,000 per month
