Description
- Review daily pick up and loss reports, analyzing and explaining any abnormalities.
- Analyze occupancy reports and suggest rate amendments for peak and valley periods.
- Assist Sales, Group Reservations, and Reservations with rate enquiries and negotiations.
- Build and maintain rates in Opera PMS.
- Maintain hotel and OTA parity.
- Assist with rebate requests and respond to emails promptly.
- Effectively manage and escalate revenue management queries.
- Complete required reporting and work closely with the Sales Coordinator to ensure communication across departments and properties.
- Prepare weekly revenue and pickup reports, attend and minute weekly strategy revenue meetings, and maintain statistical information for decision-making.
- Review business forecast and anomalies, monitor blocks holding, and conduct OTA audits.
- Complete monthly reporting, including executive summaries and OTA commissions, and prepare monthly forecasts.
- Participate in the annual budgeting process and rate contracting process.
Minimum Requirements
- 2-3 years' experience in Reservations/Revenue Management.
- Hospitality diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to work in a pressured environment and willingness to work shifts when required.
- Excellent communication, attention to detail, planning, and organizational skills.
- Computer literacy in Opera, Word, and Excel, with previous experience on Opera PMS.
- Strong guest-centric approach, ability to work independently or in a team.
- Previous experience with revenue reporting, online travel agents' extranets, market segmentation, and forecasting/budgeting.
