Our client, a leading luxury hospitality hotel group in Cape Town, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sales & Marketing Coordinator to support the commercial and revenue teams within a dynamic hotel environment. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional with strong administrative, sales coordination, and customer service skills looking to grow within the industry.

Description

The successful candidate will play a key support role within the Sales & Marketing department, assisting with reservations, conference enquiries, proposals, database management, reporting, and departmental administration. You will liaise closely with guests, corporate clients, and internal departments to ensure smooth communication and efficient handling of all incoming business opportunities.

 

Responsibilities include assisting the sales team with FIT, group, and conference reservations, preparing quotations and rate proposals, maintaining accurate records and customer databases, managing promotional material inventory, and generating departmental reports. The role also requires maintaining high standards of professionalism, presentation, and operational efficiency while supporting revenue growth and guest satisfaction.

 

This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality-focused individual who enjoys a fast-paced commercial environment and has strong organisational and communication skills.

Minimum Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree from a recognised hotel school
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a similar hospitality sales or reservations role
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Opera essential
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and professional presentation
  • Fluent in English; additional languages advantageous
