A prestigious conservation-based safari destination in Limpopo is seeking Security Officers to join their dedicated protection team. This vital position ensures the safety of guests, staff, and wildlife while maintaining the integrity of a pristine natural environment.
Description
As a Security Officer, you’ll form part of the frontline team responsible for safeguarding the reserve’s property, guests, and wildlife. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of duty, situational awareness, and the ability to operate effectively in a remote conservation environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct day and night patrols within the reserve.
- Monitor and report any illegal or suspicious activity.
- Collaborate with conservation and lodge teams to uphold security standards.
- Enforce reserve regulations and safety protocols.
- Assist in emergency situations and anti-poaching initiatives.
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Start Date: Immediate
Package Includes:
- Live-in accommodation during rotation

- 6–8 weeks on / 10–14 days off rotation

Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a security or conservation protection role.
- Security certification and firearm competency advantageous.
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors for extended periods.
- Clear criminal record.
- Excellent observation, communication, and teamwork skills.
