Description

Reporting to senior lodge management, you will oversee the daily operations of the lodge, ensuring exceptional service standards across all departments while creating memorable guest experiences. In addition to operational responsibilities, you will support and coordinate the lodge's wellness offering, assisting with spa operations, wellness guest experiences and promoting holistic guest wellbeing. You will lead departmental teams, manage guest relations, resolve operational challenges, maintain five-star service standards and ensure the seamless day-to-day running of the lodge.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years' experience as a Duty Manager or Assistant Lodge Manager within a luxury lodge or five-star hotel
  • Previous experience within a luxury safari lodge environment highly advantageous
  • Exposure to spa, wellness or luxury wellness operations preferred
  • Exceptional guest relations and communication skills
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Excellent organisational, administrative and problem-solving skills
  • Computer literate with experience using hospitality management systems
  • Flexible to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
  • Passion for luxury hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences

 

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary: R20,000 – R25,000 per month
