Our client, a globally recognised luxury hotel in Cape Town, South Africa, is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to drive revenue growth across MICE, leisure, and corporate markets. This full-time position offers a competitive base salary of R35,000 per month plus a fantastic performance bonus scheme kicking in with the next financial year.

Description

As Senior Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in positioning the hotel as the preferred choice for high-profile events, leisure groups, and corporate stays. You will build and nurture strong client relationships, proactively seek new business, and implement sales strategies to increase market share and profitability.

This is a highly strategic and hands-on role, requiring strong networking skills, a robust client portfolio, and a proven ability to close deals in competitive markets.

 

Responsibilities will include managing key accounts, conducting site inspections, preparing sales forecasts, hosting client entertainment, attending trade shows, and collaborating with operations to ensure exceptional service delivery.

 

The successful candidate will be a confident negotiator and natural relationship builder, with the drive to exceed sales targets and grow alongside a prestigious hospitality brand.

Minimum Requirements

  • 3 years’ hotel sales experience, with proven success in MICE, leisure, and corporate sales
  • Strong network of local and international contacts
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
  • Goal-driven, independent, and team-oriented
  • Flexible with working hours and travel requirements
