Description
Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will support the day-to-day management of the kitchen, ensuring exceptional food quality, consistency and presentation. You will assist with menu planning, food preparation, stock control, cost management and hygiene compliance while mentoring and developing the kitchen brigade. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced luxury lodge environment and be committed to delivering memorable dining experiences for every guest
Minimum Requirements
- Relevant Culinary Qualification
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Sous Chef within a luxury lodge or hotel
- Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Creative flair with a passion for fine dining
- Ability to work under pressure in a high-end hospitality environment
- Valid driver's licence advantageous
- Available to start immediately is beneficial
