Our client is seeking an experienced Sous Chef/Soulful Sous to support the Executive Chef at a luxury retreat in the Cape Winelands. This role suits a technically strong, thoughtful chef with a passion for seasonal, nourishing cuisine.

The Sous Chef assists with daily kitchen operations, menu execution, admin, and team leadership. You will help deliver an exceptional, thoughtful food experience that aligns with the retreat’s wellness values.
Key Responsibilities
• Support menu creation and execution
• Maintain operational excellence and hygiene standards
• Assist with stock management, ordering and costing
• Lead kitchen team in Executive Chef’s absence
• Maintain dish quality, consistency and presentation
• Promote calm, collaborative kitchen culture
Salary: R25 000 – R30 000
