An established and fast-paced animal hospital is seeking a dedicated Veterinarian to join its dynamic team. This well-respected 24-hour facility is known for delivering exceptional standards of veterinary care, supported by a highly skilled, compassionate, and committed team.
This position offers a unique blend of day and night work within a structured and lifestyle-friendly schedule of 5 days on / 5 days off and 5 nights on / 5 nights off—ensuring a healthy balance between professional growth and personal time.

This role is particularly suited to a veterinarian who is confident in their clinical abilities and has an interest in managing critical medical and surgical cases. The candidate should be comfortable working both day and night shifts, contributing to the care of critically ill and hospitalised patients as part of a close-knit team.
A strong support structure is in place, including access to a dedicated support office and digitally connected systems that allow veterinary colleagues to review blood work and imaging in real time—ensuring guidance is always available when needed.

Description
- Conducting routine and advanced medical consultations
- Diagnosing and managing a wide range of small animal medical conditions
- Performing surgical procedures and overseeing peri-operative patient care
- Delivering compassionate, clear client communication and education
- Managing in-hospital patients and contributing to treatment planning
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and adhering to hospital protocols
Minimum Requirements
- BVSc Degree
- SAVC Registration
- Updated CPD Points
- Excellent Communication Skills, Verbal and Written
- Relationship Building Abilities AND A LOVE FOR ANIMALS
- Sales Skills will be an advantage
- Valid Driver’s License
