The Role
The position is ideally suited to a Veterinarian with at least 2–3 years of practical experience who is confident managing Small Animal medical and surgical cases. The successful candidate should enjoy working as part of a team, communicate confidently with clients and colleagues, and have a genuine commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Description
- Conducting routine and advanced medical consultations
- Diagnosing and managing a wide range of small animal medical conditions
- Performing surgical procedures and overseeing peri-operative patient care
- Delivering compassionate, clear client communication and education
- Managing in-hospital patients and contributing to treatment planning
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and adhering to hospital protocols
Minimum Requirements
- Has approximately 3 years’ post-graduate veterinary experience
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to patient care and client service
- Thrives in a team-oriented environment with open communication
- Enjoys working in a busy, modern, and well-resourced hospital
- Is dedicated to continuous learning and professional development
- Is registered with the South African Veterinary Council (SAVC) and BVSc Degree
