Description
- Assisting veterinarians during consultations, procedures, and surgeries
- Monitoring and caring for hospitalised patients
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring attention to detail
- Preparing surgical equipment and maintaining a sterile environment
- Providing client education and support on animal care and treatment plans
- Assisting with general nursing and practice duties
Minimum Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Veterinary Nursing
- Registration with the South African Veterinary Council (SAVC)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Compassionate approach to animal care
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy practice setting
