Description

  • Assisting veterinarians during consultations, procedures, and surgeries
  • Monitoring and caring for hospitalised patients
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring attention to detail
  • Preparing surgical equipment and maintaining a sterile environment
  • Providing client education and support on animal care and treatment plans
  • Assisting with general nursing and practice duties

Minimum Requirements

  • Relevant qualification in Veterinary Nursing
  • Registration with the South African Veterinary Council (SAVC)
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Compassionate approach to animal care
  • Ability to work well within a team environment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a busy practice setting
