Description

As a Waiter, you will deliver impeccable food and beverage service while creating memorable dining experiences for discerning local and international guests. From welcoming guests and presenting menus to accurately taking orders and ensuring seamless service throughout the dining experience, you will play a key role in maintaining the restaurant's exceptional reputation. You'll work closely with the kitchen and bar teams, confidently recommend menu items and wines, and identify opportunities to upsell while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, presentation and hospitality.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 qualification
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Waiter within a fine dining restaurant, luxury hotel or wine estate
  • Basic knowledge of wines and the Cape Winelands wine region
  • Experience using a POS ordering system
  • Strong food and beverage knowledge
  • Excellent communication and guest engagement skills
  • Professional appearance with exceptional attention to detail
  • Passion for delivering world-class customer service
  • Comfortable working with high-end local and international clientele
  • Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
