About the role

Are you a compassionate and capable Veterinarian available for a short-term locum opportunity in Randfontein? Our client is looking for a dedicated professional to join their friendly and welcoming team for three days in October.

This small animal practice values teamwork and a supportive working environment, making it an excellent opportunity for a Veterinarian who enjoys working collaboratively while providing quality care to their patients.

Locum Dates and Hours:

Thursday, 22 October: 08:00–18:00

Friday, 23 October: 08:00–18:00

Saturday, 24 October: 09:00–13:00

The ideal candidate will be confident in small animal practice, committed to patient welfare and ready to lend a helping hand to a team that values compassionate veterinary care.

• Conducting routine and advanced medical consultations
• Diagnosing and managing a wide range of small animal medical conditions
• Performing surgical procedures and overseeing peri-operative patient care
• Delivering compassionate, clear client communication and education
• Managing in-hospital patients and contributing to treatment planning
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Maintaining accurate clinical records and adhering to hospital protocols
