• Providing high-quality nursing care to small-animal patients
• Assisting veterinarians with consultations, procedures and surgical cases
• Preparing and monitoring patients before, during and after procedures
• Administering medications and treatments as directed
• Maintaining accurate patient records
• Assisting with laboratory and diagnostic procedures
• Educating and supporting clients on appropriate patient care
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and infection control
• Supporting the veterinary team in the smooth day-to-day running of the practice

What they're looking for

• Qualified Veterinary Nurse
• Registered with the SAVC
• Previous small-animal practice experience is advantageous
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Compassionate approach to animal and client care
• Ability to remain calm, organised and efficient in a busy practice
• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
