About the role

We are seeking a Goal-Driven Sales Person to join our Sales Team. The successful candidate will be responsible to assist customers navigate complex inventories—from tools and hardware to cement, timber, and plumbing supplies—offering hands-on advice.

• Greet customers, actively listen to their needs, and recommend the right tools, materials, and hardware.
• Accurately calculate material requirements and issue competitive quotations. Process orders, manage deliveries, and track sales progress.
• Assist with in-store merchandising, maintain a neat retail floor, and collaborate with the Buyer team to ensure high-demand items are available.
• Stay updated on technical specifications for products to provide expert guidance.

What they're looking for

• Grade 12 (Matric) required (Diploma or Degree in Sales or marketing, or a related field is advantageous.
• 2 to 5 years of proven sales or merchandising experience, ideally in the hardware, building or home improvement sector.
• Experience working with UNIPOS or other inventory management systems.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• A commitment to service excellence and customer satisfaction.
• Computer Literate.
