About the role

Our client is seeking two experienced Restaurant Supervisors to support the Food & Beverage operation at a busy luxury hotel in Durban. The successful candidates will be highly visible on the floor, supporting restaurant management while ensuring staff deliver efficient and professional guest service.

• Supervise restaurant service
• Allocate duties to the Front of House team
• Assist with pre-service briefings
• Monitor staff performance during service
• Maintain restaurant presentation standards
• Assist guests and resolve service concerns
• Coordinate effectively with the kitchen
• Support opening and closing procedures
• Assist with POS and operational controls
• Support staff training
• Ensure consistently professional service standards

What they're looking for

• Previous Restaurant Supervisor or similar experience
• Hotel, restaurant or hospitality experience
• Strong Food & Beverage service knowledge
• Good team-leadership ability
• Excellent communication and guest-service skills
• Professional presentation
• Reliable and organised
• Hands-on and comfortable working on the floor
• Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
