About the role

Our client is seeking two experienced Restaurant Supervisors to join the Food & Beverage team at a busy luxury hotel in Umhlanga. This is a hands-on floor-based position for hospitality professionals who can confidently supervise restaurant service, support the team and maintain excellent guest-service standards throughout busy trading periods.

• Supervise daily restaurant operations and service
• Allocate duties and coordinate the restaurant team
• Conduct pre-service briefings and ensure the restaurant is service ready
• Monitor service standards and guest satisfaction
• Assist with opening and closing procedures
• Support staff training and development
• Handle guest requests and concerns professionally
• Ensure tables, service areas and restaurant presentation meet required standards
• Work closely with kitchen and Food & Beverage management
• Assist with POS and operational procedures
• Maintain professional service throughout busy periods

What they're looking for

• Previous Restaurant Supervisor or similar experience
• Hotel, restaurant or high-volume hospitality experience
• Strong Food & Beverage service knowledge
• Confident team-leadership ability
• Excellent guest-service and communication skills
• Professional presentation
• Comfortable working on the restaurant floor
• Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
• Able to work effectively under pressure
