About the role

Our client is seeking a vigilant, professional and dependable Security Officer to join the security team at a prestigious luxury wine estate in Stellenbosch. The successful candidate will help protect guests, employees, property and assets while maintaining the discreet and professional presence required within a high-end hospitality environment.

• Conduct security patrols of designated areas
• Monitor access to the property
• Assist with vehicle, visitor and contractor access procedures
• Maintain awareness of activity across the estate
• Identify and report security risks or suspicious activity
• Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies
• Complete security records and occurrence reports accurately
• Assist guests and employees professionally when required
• Monitor property and assets
• Follow emergency, safety and security procedures
• Liaise with management and relevant departments regarding incidents
• Maintain a visible but discreet security presence

What they're looking for

• Previous Security Officer experience
• Experience within a hotel, luxury estate, residential estate or hospitality environment advantageous
• Appropriate security registration/certification where required
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Able to complete accurate incident reports
• Vigilant and observant
• Calm and professional under pressure
• High levels of honesty and integrity
• Professional presentation
• Guest-service awareness
• Physically able to perform patrol duties
• Flexible to work shifts, nights, weekends and public holidays
