About the role
Our client is seeking an experienced and professionally qualified Spa Therapist to join an exclusive luxury spa at an award-winning wine estate in Stellenbosch.
The successful candidate will deliver exceptional treatments and personalised guest experiences while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, hygiene and guest care.
This opportunity requires a confident, hands-on therapist with strong practical experience across massage, beauty and advanced facial treatments.
- Perform professional massage and body treatments.
- Deliver facials, waxing, manicures and pedicures.
- Perform advanced facial treatments, including microneedling, where appropriately trained.
- Conduct guest consultations and recommend suitable treatments.
- Maintain excellent knowledge of spa therapies and retail products.
- Recommend additional treatments and appropriate retail products.
- Respond professionally to guest enquiries and special requirements.
- Maintain treatment rooms to exceptional cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all products and equipment are available.
- Monitor spa equipment and report maintenance requirements.
- Maintain attractive and organised retail displays.
- Ensure guests receive consistently excellent treatment and service experiences.
- Support the wider spa team with daily operational requirements.
What they're looking for
- Recognised qualification in Beauty Therapy or Aesthetics, such as ITEC, CIDESCO, SAAHSP or an equivalent advanced qualification.
- Minimum 5 years' professional Spa Therapist experience.
- Strong practical massage and body-treatment skills.
- Experience with manicures, pedicures and waxing.
- Confident performing facials and advanced facial treatments.
- Experience with holistic body therapies.
- Passion for healing, wellness and personalised guest care.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Professional grooming and presentation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous luxury spa, five-star hotel or high-end wellness experience advantageous.
- Able to work flexible hospitality hours.

- Salary: Market Related Basic Salary + Commission
