About the role

Our client is seeking a polished and personable Wine Lounge Hostess to join the guest-facing team of a prestigious luxury wine estate in Stellenbosch on a fixed-term contract. As one of the first points of contact for Wine Lounge guests, you will play an important role in creating a warm welcome and ensuring a smooth, organised and professional guest experience.

• Welcome and acknowledge arriving guests
• Assist with guest flow and seating
• Manage waiting guests professionally during busy periods
• Provide accurate information about Wine Lounge experiences
• Communicate effectively with Wine Tutors and service teams
• Monitor tables and guest movement
• Assist with special requests where appropriate
• Maintain a polished and welcoming entrance and reception area
• Support the team with guest-facing administration
• Handle guest questions professionally
• Assist with maintaining luxury service and presentation standards

What they're looking for

• Previous Hostess, Reception, Guest Relations or Front of House experience advantageous
• Luxury hospitality, restaurant or wine-estate experience advantageous
• Excellent English communication skills
• Warm and naturally welcoming personality
• Professional presentation and grooming
• Confident engaging with local and international guests
• Highly organised and attentive
• Calm under pressure
• Strong team player
• Flexible to work weekends and public holidays
