About the role

Our client is seeking a skilled Accountant to join their hospitality head office in Durban. This permanent role is suited to an experienced finance professional with strong knowledge of VAT returns, EMP201 submissions, tax compliance, Pastel, and CaseWare. • The successful candidate will manage financial reporting, prepare VAT returns, complete EMP201 submissions, assist with tax compliance, reconcile accounts, prepare month-end reports, and support the finance team with statutory and management reporting.

• Relevant Accounting qualification
• Minimum 3–5 years' accounting experience
• Experience with VAT, tax and EMP201 submissions
• Proficient in Pastel and CaseWare
• Strong analytical and organisational skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Salary: R30,000 – R40,000 per month
