Terms for job seekers

These are the terms for using Recruit 360 Jobs to look for work. They are short because the service is simple. Recruit 360 Jobs is for people of 18 and over.
It is free
Searching, saving jobs, keeping a profile, setting alerts and applying are free. The recruitment agencies and employers here are our customers: advertising a job, and having access to the board to find people for it, is a service they subscribe to with Recruit 360.
Your CV must be yours, and true
Upload your own CV, with your own history on it. Agencies make decisions and calls on what it says, and a CV that overstates things wastes their time and yours. Keep your contact details current so a recruiter with a job for you can reach you.
We cannot promise you a job
We show you what agencies advertise and pass on what you send them. Nobody here decides who gets shortlisted, interviewed or hired, and an application through this board is not a guarantee of a reply. Adverts can also close or be filled before we know about it.
Who can see your profile
Your profile and CV go to the agencies you apply to or register with, and they see your full details.
Your profile is also shown to other recruitment agencies and employers on Recruit 360 Jobs, and those with authorised access to the board can see your full details so they can contact you about a job. We email you the first time one opens your details, with its name on it. You can limit your profile to the agencies you applied to or registered with, or take it out of searches altogether, at any time in your account.
Whichever agency you came to us through, the account is with Recruit 360: who can see you, what we email you and deleting the account are settled with us, from your own profile page.
The agencies are independent
Every advert belongs to the agency that placed it, and the agency wrote it. Recruit 360 does not verify the employers behind an advert or the terms an agency offers you, and the agreement about a job is between you and them. Once you apply, that agency holds its own copy of your details under its own privacy terms — see our privacy notice.
South African law does not allow an agency to charge you a fee for finding you work, apart from narrow exceptions the Minister has to permit by notice. In ordinary recruiting there is no fee to pay, so if an agency you met here asks you for money — for a placement, a test, a course or a “registration” — stop, and tell us.
Fair use
Use the board as a person looking for work. Do not scrape it, resell the adverts, apply on someone else's behalf without their say-so, upload anything you do not have the right to upload, or try to get at other people's information. We can close an account that does.
Leaving
Delete your account from your profile page whenever you like — it takes one confirmation and removes your profile, your CV, your saved jobs and your saved searches from Recruit 360 Jobs. As we close it we email you the list of agencies that received your CV, because applications you already sent stay with the agencies you sent them to and only they can delete their copy. You can also withdraw a single application from your applications page without leaving.
Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will say so on this page. Using the board after that is how you accept the change.
