Who writes it
Recruit 360 is recruitment software for South African agencies. The advice is written from the agency side of the table. It covers how a consultant actually reads a CV, what happens to an application inside an agency, and why a regret letter arrives when it does. It is published under the site's name, not a person's, because that is what it is: the site's view, held to the site's standard.
Where the facts come from
Anything that states the law quotes the gazetted Act, names the section, and links the source. Pay and tax figures come from SARS, Stats SA and the Government Gazette, and every number carries the date it was checked. Nothing is copied from another job site, and where the law has changed, as with the notice period in the BCEA and the UIF credit rule, the article says which version it is quoting.
How it is checked
Before an article is published every statutory quotation is compared against the source text, every internal figure is recomputed, and the piece is read once more as a job seeker would read it. Each article shows a Last checked date. That date moves only when the article has actually been re-read against its sources, never to look fresh.
What it is not
It is general information, not legal, tax or financial advice, and it does not create a professional relationship. Your contract, a bargaining council agreement or a sectoral determination may say something different in your case. For your own situation, the CCMA is free, and an attorney or your union can advise on the specifics.
If something is wrong
Email [email protected] and say which article and which line. An article that is out of date or mistaken gets corrected, and its Last checked date moves when it has been re-read. The privacy notice explains what we hold about you when you use the site, and how to have it deleted.
