About the role

An exciting opportunity for a professional and guest-focused Guest Relations Officer to join a prestigious 4/5-star lodge environment. The successful candidate will support the Lodge Manager with daily lodge operations while ensuring exceptional guest service and maintaining high hospitality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Lodge Manager with daily lodge operations
• Conduct housekeeping checks according to set standards
• Assist with restaurant operations and support service staff
• Ensure meal and service standards are maintained
• Manage guest check-ins and check-outs
• Attend to guest requests and additional services
• Maintain excellent guest relations throughout the guest stay
• Report operational issues and improvement opportunities to management
• Assist with stock counts and weekly/monthly reports

What they're looking for

• Hotel Management Diploma, Certificate or equivalent
• 1–2 years’ experience in Front of House or a similar position within a 4/5-star lodge or hospitality establishment
• Excellent English communication skills
• Professional, well-spoken and presentable
• Strong guest relations and customer-service skills
• Good knowledge of Food & Beverage Service, Housekeeping and Front Office
• Hosting/Butler experience advantageous
• Intermediate MS Excel skills
• Knowledge of Lightspeed, Sage Evolution and Protel advantageous
• Valid Driver’s Licence preferred
• Strong attention to detail and good common sense
