About the role

Our client is seeking a reliable and hardworking Housekeeper to join a beautiful hospitality property in Stellenbosch, Cape Winelands. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced cleaner or housekeeper who takes pride in maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness, presentation and hygiene within a guest-focused environment.

• The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest and private areas across the property. Duties will include cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas, changing linen, dusting, vacuuming, mopping and ensuring all spaces are consistently presented to a high standard.
• The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and understand the importance of cleanliness within a luxury hospitality environment. You will need to work efficiently, follow cleaning procedures, handle cleaning products responsibly and maintain a professional approach at all times.
• This role would suit someone who is dependable, energetic and comfortable working as part of a team. Flexibility is essential, as hospitality operations may require work on weekends and public holidays.

What they're looking for

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is advantageous
• Experience within hospitality, guest accommodation or a private household is beneficial
• Excellent attention to detail and high cleanliness standards
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Physically fit and able to perform active cleaning duties
• Willing to work weekends and public holidays when required

Salary: R6,000 – R7,000 per month
