About the role

My Client based in Kroostad seeks Financial Manager to join there Team They are a wholesale distribution company providing the market with a comprehensive range of products and solutions. We specialise in products and services for companion animals, large animals, poultry, swine and equine.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial activities and prepare consolidated group financial statements (IFRS compliant)
• Lead the annual external audit process across all branches
• Manage group budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and working capital
• Ensure consistent financial controls, policies, and tax compliance (VAT, PAYE, income tax) across branches
• Deliver timely financial reporting, variance analysis, and strategic insights to management
• Consolidate branch performance data and support operational and expansion decisions
• Mentor finance staff and promote collaboration between branches

What they're looking for

Skills and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance
• Completed articles (SAICA or SAIPA) highly beneficial
• 3–5+ years’ proven experience as Financial Manager or similar senior role, preferably with multi-branch / group exposure
• Strong technical knowledge of full financial statement preparation, budgeting, and audit coordination
• Advanced Excel skills; excellent analytical and communication abilities
• Ability to manage complexity, meet deadlines, and engage with stakeholders at all levels
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central in a multi-entity environment highly beneficial
