About the role
Cape Town based | Permanent opportunity | Onsite Established Organisation is looking for an IT Engineer to assist with level 2-3 technical support queries and escalations, server management and network maintenance.
- Monitor and respond to escalated IT queries and ensure that SLAs are adhered to
- Manage the on-premises Active Directory, Office365 and Azure environments
- Troubleshoot system accounts and passwords
- Install and maintain PC hardware and software
- Provide training and upskilling in various IT applications
What they're looking for
- Matric / Grade 12
- Relevant degree (preferred) / Diploma in the field of Computer Science or Information Technology
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE and MCITP)
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT infrastructure, 1 years’ experience as a CRM administration/coordinator or similar role
- Knowledge of South African IT legislation, Hyper-Converged technologies / networking technologies, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, VLANS, domain management and websites etc
- Proficient in MS Office
- Prepared to work irregular hours
