About the role

Well Known Agriculture Company based in Nelspruit are seeking a Junior Financial Manager to join there team and play a key role in supporting financial strategy, ensuring compliance, and driving sound financial decision-making across the business.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
• Coordinate month-end reporting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Prepare audit files and liaise with external auditors.
• Ensure accurate VAT, tax, and statutory submissions in line with SARS requirements.
• Analyse financial results and provide reports to support business decisions.
• Assist with financial planning, budgeting, and strategic initiatives.
• Lead, mentor, and support the development of the finance team.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, company policies, and relevant financial legislation.

What they're looking for

• BCom Accounting or equivalent qualification.
• Completed SAICA, SAIPA, or CIMA articles, or a minimum of 3 years' experience in a financial environment.
• Strong knowledge of South African tax legislation, IFRS, and financial systems (Sage, Pastel, or similar).
• Experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and audit preparation will be advantageous.
