About the role

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Management Couple to take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of an exclusive luxury safari camp in Malawi. This is an exciting opportunity for a professionally qualified hospitality couple who thrive in remote environments and understand the highly personalised service, operational standards and hands-on leadership required within luxury safari hospitality. The successful couple will work together to deliver exceptional guest experiences while ensuring the smooth, efficient and commercially responsible operation of the camp.

• As the Management Couple, you will take hands-on responsibility across the safari camp operation, providing visible leadership to the team and ensuring consistently high standards across all guest and operational areas.
• Responsibilities will include guest relations, Front of House, food and beverage, housekeeping, staff leadership, administration, stock and cost controls, maintenance coordination and overall camp operations.
• You will oversee daily guest experiences from arrival through departure, ensuring personalised service and seamless communication between departments.
• The successful couple must be comfortable living and working in a remote environment, leading by example and stepping into operational areas whenever required.

What they're looking for

• Formal hospitality qualifications essential
• Proven experience as a Management Couple or in complementary senior hospitality management roles
• Previous luxury safari lodge or remote camp experience strongly preferred
• Strong all-round lodge operations knowledge
• Excellent guest relations and luxury service experience
• Strong Food & Beverage operational understanding
• Experience overseeing housekeeping and Front of House standards
• Staff leadership, training and development experience
• Good financial awareness, stock control and administrative ability
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Confident managing a remote hospitality operation
• Professional, adaptable and highly guest focused
• Both candidates must be committed to a remote, live-in lifestyle
• Available to start as soon as possible

Package

• Salary: USD $5,000 gross per month for the couple
