About the role

The purpose of the Project Developer is to assist with the management and coordination required for the development of large solar or solar hybrid storage projects.

• Strategig Business Development & pipeline growth
• Permitting, licensing & environmental compliance
• Commercial negotiations & transaction execution
• Investment analysis, due diligence & technical oversight
• Leadership, GIS & process optimisation

What they're looking for

• Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a related fi eld
• A degree in Engineering, Business or Natural Science
• Proven ability to speak and write fluently in English
• Possession of a valid South Africa Code 08 driver’s licence
• Motivated, driven and ability to self-manage
• Strong administrative skills
• Proven ability to solve problems creatively

Beneficial

• Knowledge and experience with RSA EIA process
• Willingness to travel to relevant project sites in Africa will be required in line with business requirements
• In addition to the duties mentioned above, the job holder is required to perform administrative duties related to a standard project management role

The candidate should have excellent communication and organisational skills.
